Week 2 5301 Reflection

 Week 2 Reflection
During week 2, I believe laying the foundation for an action research inquiry is based on how the students will achieve success and growth internally. Within our school the education of students in the most important factor we weed need to adhere. Students come first should be our primary task. There are other factors that play apart in a childs education but as a teacher it’s our duty to teach and educate their young minds to be better citizens for the future.
According to Dana (2009) “Wonderings materialize at the nexuses of the real world observations, dilemmas, felt difficulties, and passions that you developed…” (p.30). From the nine wonderings presented, each, seemed to promote student success. I was able to get an idea of what each of the passion articulated along with the examples from other professionals engaged in action research. The particular passions I associated my topic and action research inquiry is with passion 3: Individual teacher(s), passion 4: Individual student(s), and passion 8: school performance.
Analyzing data is also a key component in determining action research inquiries. Data helps align your research with specifics and it should be geared towards targeting students to increase student achievement.  Now in this generation, new projects or programs are examined through action research to determine if the benefits outweigh any negatives or concerns.
